Features of 2 Bolt Exhaust Flange with Gasket
Exhaust Flange 2 Bolts Title:
Exhaust Flange Gasket Stainless Steel 2 bolt Pipe Flanges for Heavy Duty
Exhaust Flange 2 bolts Introduction:
The Bolt Exhaust Flange with Gasket is mainly used to connect the exhaust pipe with equipment interfaces such as mufflers and catalytic converters.
Core functions:
Rigid seal: By pre tightening the gasket with bolts, it blocks the leakage of high-temperature exhaust gas;
Heat resistant deformation
Structural composition:
Bolt hole layout: symmetrical double hole design, standardized hole spacing (such as 63mm/75mm/96mm/108mm);
Material:
Carbon Steel, SS (2301/304/316): resistant to oxidation and corrosion, suitable for passenger car exhaust systems;
Gasket:
Composite graphite gasket: graphite layer+stainless steel skeleton stamped, with a thickness of about 1.8mm
Spiral wound gasket: 316L stainless steel strip+graphite filling ring;
Metal coated gasket: Low carbon steel plate coated with ceramic fibers, with laser engraved anti slip patterns on the surface;
Note: The gasket needs to match the flange sealing surface, and the double bolt structure requires additional anti loosening design (such as locking washers);

Muffler interface: composite graphite gasket+stamped flange;
Turbocharger outlet: spiral wound gasket+forged flange;

Standardized installation process
Step 1: Cleaning and positioning
Thoroughly clean the residue on the flange sealing surface with a wire brush to ensure no oil stains or carbon deposits;
Place the gasket in the center between the two flanges, and do not deviate;
Insert the bolt and manually pre tighten the nut to the contact flange;
Step 2: Cross tighten in stages
Initial pre tightening - tighten in diagonal order;
Secondary pre tightening - eliminating flange gaps;
Achieve final fastening;
