Preformed lap clamp is a stainless steel ring fixture used for connecting exhaust pipes. It wraps around the overlapping part of the pipe with a pre bent saddle structure (Lap Joint) and is tightened with M10 screws to achieve sealing.

Application:
Upgraded exhaust system for modified cars: When replacing the original muffler with a straight through exhaust system, connect a variable diameter pipe;
Industrial pipeline emergency: Temporary plugging of corrosive gas pipelines in chemical plants, rapid repair in case of vibration and breakage of exhaust pipes in generator sets;
Installation steps:
Clean the oil/rust stains at the pipeline interface to ensure the natural color of the contact surface metal;
Tightening process
Manually pre tighten the bolt until the clamp fits the pipeline;
Tighten twice in diagonal order;
Tighten again after heating up the car to compensate for the thermal expansion gap of the material;
